| In recognition of the importance of links between education & industry, School of Fashion Technology (SOFT) organizes programs , wherever possible, for visiting professionals, apparel/textile companies. Students are also encouraged to seek and maintain links with industry in support of their major project work. Links are also maintained through regular study visits. Links with the industry are reinforced through lecturers and seminars by industry experts whose in-depth knowledge enhances the dimensions of design & technical awareness for faculty and students of School of Fashion Technology (SOFT). |

The CAD/CAM cell has workstations for textiles and apparel design with dedicated high-end softwares including Lectra, Fashion Studio. |
