The 2 year P. G. Program in Fashion Design
: Clothing Technology is intensive technical
and design program provides a thorough
grasp of all important skills of apparel,
textiles and product development. It emphasizes
on practical oriented training for in
depth understanding of the essentials
of design as well as manufacturing processes
of the apparel & textile industry.
The program consists of various modular
levels of design, pattern making, grading,
sample manufacture and production methods
and is primarily aimed at students who
desire to develop design and technical
skills to a high professional level. The
students are given inputs on how fashion
functions, the trends and cycles, the
history, the influences, the components
of color and fabric and more importantly
the program links student to the cutting
edge of business practices enabling them
to transit from the classroom to the work
place more easily.
